Inspiring Messages

Here's some messages that have been uploaded to facebook or YouTube as videos.

This is not a message about being on fire, I hope from previous messages you have a heart on fire now…

This is a message on what to do once you're on fire. It’s a short but very important message on Information, Impact and Emotion,

and I won’t be using much scripture.

I watched another person's sermon and considered 3 things: The Information, its Impact and his Emotion. His emotion was very high,

The information wasn’t quite as good, and the impact was lacking a little more.

Now, I’m not saying I can do better. I’m saying that it made me think of how I should change what I say for a little more suitable information, rather than "just" information and moreso how to deliver a far greater impact.

So let’s look at these: Emotion; emotion from a person presenting a message can increase its impact, but I believe a message that carries information that is considered important can have the most impact. So rather than presenting things emotionally, and get you all excited, shouting yes, but forgetting everything by tomorrow. I want to present ideas for you to consume, for the idea to overwhelm you rather than the emotion behind it.

I don’t want you to think back and feel "that message moved me… what was it about again?'

I want the impact to remain. For the message not to sit on your heart and be forgotten, but rather for it to consume your mind, so you just can’t stop thinking about it.

For my messages to be of use, I need you to think about them, not just hear them, but consider them deeply. I need you to consider this - are they relevant to you? If not, who may they be relevant to? Take a note now, who would want the information I present? Then again, send links to everybody! Please, I implore you to get those people to watch them.

Now, If these messages are relevant to you, I ask you, do more than just read more than just take notes, but to make suitable changes in your life to live them out,  schedule them into your life.

Does this make sense? Are you in agreement here? So right here and now I want you to take notes.

In fact, I ask you to be ready to take notes in every message. So do you have something to take notes on?

Now just before I go on I want you to remember the last message…  if you watched/read it - Grace the english word used for charis (the greek), it’s the divine influence upon the heart, and its reflection in the life

1/ Always take notes ( if you see value in what I’m saying... record it). It’s useless if you forget it tomorrow.

2/ Charis (God should be on my heart, in my mind and on my lips most of the time!) Rom 10:8 "The Word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart" (that is, the Word of faith which we proclaim).

3/ Col_4:2  Devote yourselves to prayer. Be alert and thankful when you pray., Romans 10:17 – “So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ.”, 2 Timothy 3:16-17 All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.

4/ Evangelis -] Set times to pray, read the bible, to memorise key scriptures and especially times to Discuss christianity and or revival with everyone, everyone you know and everyone you meet, if they’re unsaved find out what will compel them to God, if they’re saved, discuss steps to revival, encourage them to get out and tell others, plan to do it with them etc. Hebrews 10:24-25 And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another and all the more as you see the Day approaching.

5/ Find videos or other messages that will promote these things, watch them, and get others to watch them.

6/ Direct people to these messages, to our website, youtube or Facebook pages or to whatever pages that will help these things happen. If you don’t take steps to revival, who will?

7/ Don’t push those people hard; grab on to any interest they have, but let them go if they disagree. 1 Peter 3:15 But in your hearts revere [treat as sacred] Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect,

8/ Don’t just direct them, ask for them to commit and tell them you will follow up to help make it happen (check) (nicely), plan times with them to do that. If you get a good response, remember to follow up as it’s just as important, maybe more than the initial message. 1 Timothy 5:28 Keep watch over yourselves and all the flock of which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers. Be shepherds of [supervise] the church of God, which he bought with his own blood. Get others to do this, as well, to create lists like this and make them prominent. Make both fellowship and evangelism a daily event, Acts 2:46  Also continuing daily with one accord in the temple,

also breaking bread at every house, they were partaking of food in gladness and simplicity of heart. Ask people to remind you of these things. Use a calendar or alarm or anything that will remind you to do these things. Rewrite the notes for a more practical order

and or wording for you, and put them where you will see them most often.

OK, so, do you understand how these things will make a difference? Are you willing to be the difference? I can’t see you or talk to you in conversation, so I can’t ask you. if you even care? I can only have faith that you care enough for God and for others, that you will act.

So why not keep in touch by sending me an email?

Let’s get back to Information, Impact and Emotion. I can be emotional about this, but again, that may only help a little. It may even turn some people off. It’s more important to give good information and even more important to make it impactful. Not by the emotion behind it, but by how you word things. To deliver useful information, to make sense for people, to bring contemplation and follow it up by seeking commitment, and then continue to work with them to reach the goals of salvation and revival.

How to tell an unsaved person about God… I’ll just gloss over this; preaching the word using the bible works... but there are other ways that I believe will have far more impact; your testimony Acts 8:25 After they had given their testimony and spoken the word of the Lord, they started back to Jerusalem, continuing to proclaim the good news in many Samaritan villages. and Psalm 53:1   …the fool has said in his heart, There is no God!... so let me expand on that a moment, I’ve said this before and probably will again

I can’t prove anything, I can’t prove men walked on the moon, but I believe there is enough evidence that they probably did, so I choose to believe they did. The same applies to God, heaven and hell. I can’t prove they exist, but I have 2 choices: they do or don’t. And I choose to believe… that choice to believe is what faith is, and salvation is dependent on it. So if they do (I have evidence, though it is circumstantial), then I am walking right before God, and the bible's promise for me is heaven, but if I am not a Christian and walking in sin instead, then the outcome is hell, and I don’t want that, as it’s a place of torment. Now on the other hand, if there is no God, I lose nothing by believing and still gain as by living as a Christian, I’m more beneficial and not detrimental to the world, so I still gain rewards of satisfaction, the fruits of the spirit, wisdom and goodwill from others.

So let them know how God has benefited you, and they have 2 choices. God is the beneficial one, and anything else is detrimental.

I pray that you have found this important and it impacts you. The thing I want is for you to commit now, commit not for me,

not for your own sake either, but for God. Commit to your own growth and walking with God in a Godly way and commit to evangelism and revival. Bring the unsaved to Jesus and the saved to active revival.

I have a massive compulsion in my heart about this message (and more so the messages to come). I can feel revival starting right here, right now, through what we can do together in God's strength, for God.

It’s time to act!
